We work from Pleasanton, just east of the San Francisco Bay, with a simple point of view: tackle should disappear into the moment. That means precise drag, honest balance and gear that gets better with use.

RIGGING

Match the rod to the room.

Open beach calls for length and load. A rock edge rewards control. Pick the rod that makes the cast easier, not the one that looks heaviest.

DRAG
